Common Operational Questions

Direct responses to common inquiries received from importers, exporters, and logistics forwarders.

1. How do I request a price quotation, and how long does response take?

Send your loading port, destination, cargo type, approximate weight/dimensions, and target dispatch date via WhatsApp, phone, or website form. We respond with a detailed written quotation within official working hours (Saturday – Thursday, 9 AM to 6 PM).

2. What information is required to price a shipment?

Six details are sufficient: Loading port (Alexandria, Dekheila, Abu Qir, or customs zone), final delivery location, cargo description, estimated weight, dimensions / container count & type, and loading date.

3. How are transport rates calculated?

Rates are determined by route distance, trailer category required, cargo weight and dimensions, site access conditions, and special handling requirements (such as active refrigeration or route permits).

4. What geographic areas do you cover?

We load from Alexandria, El-Dekheila, and Abu Qir commercial ports and customs zones, servicing all governorates across Egypt including Greater Cairo, Industrial Cities, Canal Cities, Delta, and Upper Egypt.

5. Can I track my shipment during transit?

Yes. We maintain an internal dispatch tracking system and provide real-time updates from our dockside representatives upon loading and offloading, plus active location updates upon request.

6. How do you guarantee reefer container temperature?

Every 40ft reefer container is paired with an active Genset power generator running continuously throughout the journey, ensuring uninterrupted cold chain preservation from port to site.

7. What if my cargo exceeds standard dimensions (OOG)?

Out-of-gauge items exceeding standard container dimensions in length, width, or height are transported on specialized lowbed trailers with full heavy-duty chain lashing and required traffic route permits.

8. What is the difference between enclosed and open LCL trucks?

Enclosed box trucks protect cargo from weather elements, rain, and dust. Open flatbed trucks provide greater vertical flexibility for tall or irregular items, which are covered with waterproof tarpaulins and strapped securely.
